Be a glam goddess this Gudi Padwa!
Flaunt your Marathi style for this New Year by taking some ethnic inspiration from my style diary.
Festive cheer and fervour are at an all-time high with Gudi Padwa. It is incomplete without a bright-coloured Gudi, colourful rangoli and women dressed in a vibrant Maharashtrian silk drapes, mirroring the burst of colour associated with the spring season.
Put at your traditional best foot forward alike my green silk
embroidered saree and opt for a matching red silk blouse to look regal for the festival. This handwoven pure silk saree that combines contrasting shades of red embroidery adorned all over the pallu and border will really elevate the entire ensemble.
Note* This Silk saree was bought plain green hue back in India @ramkishansarees and, I further customise this hand embroidered Aari work from one of the artisan from Kashmir, India. This embroidery has been sketched and designed @sakshi.nigam
Elevate the grace of the look with traditional silver jewellery, Kanch bangles, matching Potli bag, maharashtrian traditional nath and open hair will complete your ethnic look!
