To mark the beginning of a grand Navratri, there can’t be a saree more lustrous, simple and elegant than a yellow Bomkai Sari with maroon pallu . The simplicity of the silk coupled with the vibrancy of the yellow colour is bound to give you a luminous glow.
Bomkai sari is a handloom silk sari from odisha, India. The main motif used originally are dambaru all over border and pallu. This beautiful silk saree is yellow base saree with maroon border is ideal to begin first day of Navratri festival.
This beautiful BOMKAI silk handloom sari has been gifted by my MIL . I further customise this sari with floral aari embroidery jaal work all over body of saree from one of artisans in Kashmir, India. This flower buta has been designed @sakshi.nigam. Mixing of two crafts is always overwhelming for me.
